Bookies Ready for Selection Sunday, March Madness Frenzy

Bookies across North America are scrambling to set up offshore Pay Per Head accounts ahead of this Selection Sunday and the frenzy that is March Madness.

“It’s a huge time of year with office pools taking center stage but bookies see tremendous revenue streams during the month of March as well,” notes Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

Our friends at PremierPerHead.com have advised they will be offering live wagering on all NCAA Tournament games with the kickoff starting Thursday St. Patrick’s Day.

The first week of March Madness features a few dozen games over a four day period.  NIT games will also be played starting this week, most of which will likely be offered via live wagering.

The public tends to back top seeds and the oddsmakers are well aware of that so watch for some heavy shading of the lines on these favorites.
