Twins @ Mets

Both teams are playing decent at the moment.  We don't have a whole lot of recent series trends to go by outside of Minnesota winning two of three last season.

The Mets do have the third-best winning percentage in July and a 7-2 record at home during this month.

Jose Quintana has only allowed more than two runs in one of his past seven starts. The Mets' offense is averaging 5.56 runs per game at home this month.

Six Mets players have faced off against Quintana and have made a total of 99 appearances resulting in a .242 average, but with just two home runs to show for it.

Twins starting pitcher Simeon Woods Richardson is 3--1 with a 3.27 ERA.

Seattle Sweeps White Sox, Now Off to Boston

The odds are good that the Chicago White Sox are kicking sportsbook operators asses right now with their inability to win, and the Seattle Mariners are the latest to take full advantage.

It's mostly a cat and mouse game between the gambler and Washington State bookie where the Mariners are concerned.  They've been hot and cold all season with a 55-51 record to show for it.

The Red Sox have mostly been hot this season but are cold since returning from the All Star break.  They've won just two of their last nine games.

Nick Pivetta starts for Boston Monday.  He's coming off a game in which he gave up eight runs to the lowly Rockies. Before that, he allowed two hits over six scoreless innings, but didn’t factor into the decision versus the Dodgers.

In 61 at bats against Pivetta, the Mariners have six home runs.   Two of those came courtesy of Randy Arozarena, who has 15 on the season.

Cal Raleigh also has two home runs off of him.

Logan Gilbert dropped to 6-6 after giving up five runs — one earned — in 6 2/3 innings Tuesday against the Angels.  He had shut out the Angels the game prior.

The last three games of this series have stayed Under 7.5. Seattle only scored more than two runs in one game of seven prior to the White Sox series but Boston has been scoring a lot of runs even during this dry spell.

Royals @ White Sox

The White Sox are losers of 14 straight games and host a solid Royals team.  We are getting KC at -164 to -170 with

Marsh has a 6.37 ERA in his last 10 starts and one relief appearance. He’s 7-7 with a 4.75 ERA overall

Marsh lost to the Diamondbacks after allowing five runs in five innings on Tuesday.

Chicago offers an excellent opportunity for redemption.

Royals career statistics vs. Chris Flexen are just .200.

KC is 9-1 in the last ten versus the White Sox.

Seven of the last nine in this series have stayed Under 7.5.

Kansas City and the Under 9 look good here.
