Leake has gotten off to a poor start with the Cards, posting a 0-1, 6.97 ERA record in two starts.

Presumably, the Cubs on Monday April 18 provide the perfect medicine, as Leake ($6700) has gone 9-2 with a 3.15 ERA and winning his last five decisions against Chicago over the last three seasons.

Despite this shining record vs. Chicago, the total is set at 8 and seven of the last ten games in this series have resulted in more total runs than that.  As such, many of the Cubs and Cardinals hitters could potentially be in play for one’s DFS roster this evening, especially with such a limited slate.

St. Louis C Eric Fryer is 6-for-6 to begin his tenure with the Cardinals.  That club has also tied Cincinnati for most errors this season thus far: 14.

Miguel Montero is 3-for-11 vs. Leake with one home run. Anthony Rizzo is 10-for-30 at bats with two homers against Leake but has struggled so far this season.

HOT TRENDS:

*Seven of the last ten games in the Cardinals-Cubs series had gone OVER 8.5.

*Mike Leake is 9-2 with a 3.15 ERA vs. the Cubs with wins in his last five decisions against them.

Zach Eflin Player Prop Bets

Zach Eflin has great value in fantasy leagues for the April 26 game against the lowly Chicago White Sox.  Betting on Eflin and the Tampa Bay Rays might make sense if not for the -210 price tag.

Trevor Williams Player Prop Bets

The Nats Trevor Williams held the Astros to one run with four strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision on Saturday.  And the betting public was eating him up at a near 80% clip.

Tanner Bibee Player Prop Bets: Hits Allowed

Bibee was promoted to the major leagues at the start of last season and made a lot of noise in doing so.  In his debut versus the Colorado Rockies, Bibee became the first Cleveland pitcher ever to record at least five consecutive strikeouts in a Major League debut.
