As of June 8, the defending World Series champion were having a bit of a down period, losing their last four games after winning eight of their previous ten.  Gambling911.com did correctly predict that KC bookies would make out rather well against the Indians, losing three coming into Sunday.

Matters got worse Tuesday night when Yordano Ventura got manhandled by the Orioles early and KC lost by 1-9 in the end.

This is an Orioles team the Royals had beaten in 12 of the last 16 prior to this series.  Newcomer Scott Alexander allowed one run in 5 2/3 innings with seven strikeouts and no walks.

The Royals Starting Pitchers:

Edinson Volquez - (5-5, 4.03) WEDNESDAY JUNE 8 - Coming off a loss in which Volquez permitted 5 runs, he'll be facing an Orioles team that will have Chris Tillman starting.  Tillman has allowed 20 hits off of 76 at bats vs. this KC roster.  He gave up his second most runs of the season (5) his last outing but still got the win against the Indians.  Prior to his last two games, Tillman had not allowed more than two runs in six of seven starts.  The UNDER might be in play here if 8 or higher.

Ways for Royals bookies to reduce their losses in 2016:

*Provide your players with live in-play betting through use of a proven offshore Pay Per Head provider such as Gambling911.com endorsed PayPerHeadAgents.com.

*Let your players bet futures for the Royals to win the 2016 World Series.  The odds of this happening are slim, especially after winning it last year.  But a few diehards will put money on it happening just as long as you are willing to take their bet.

*Trust the Pay Per Head linesmakers.  You may find a line for a particular starting pitcher a little too attractive to sports bettors but there may be a reason behind this (Pitcher A past performance versus a particular team or left-handers).

*Encourage other forms of gambling such as player prop bets, parlays and totals wagering.
