Politico on Wednesday was promoting the odds on today's highly anticipated Congressional Baseball game.

BetOnline, we believe, is the only site offering odds on this event.

Traffic was heavy coming in from...well, we won't say where.

From Politico:

"The first pitch of the 91st annual Congressional Baseball Game is scheduled for 7:05 p.m., with Republicans under Manager ROGER WILLIAMS (R-Texas) hoping to extend their three-game winning streak against Democrats managed by Rep. LINDA SANCHEZ (D-Calif.). Their odds look good (literally): Per NOTUS’ reporting, the GOP crew is looking like a finely tuned machine, while the Dems, um, aren’t. The biggest drama, though, might come from the activist group Climate Defiance, which is threatening to shut down the game in protest of the game’s fossil-fuel sponsors. Watch on C-SPAN"

Joey Chestnut Banned From Hot Dog Eating Contest

Another time honored tradition, the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, will be without its big star and "lock to win", Joey Chestnut.

It seems he's been promoting another hot dog brand from Impossible Foods, the leading maker of meatless "meat". The hot dog eating contest Nathans is not too thrilled about that.

Chestnut is the GOAT when it comes to professional eating.

He's won the contest 16 times, including every year since 2016.

He gobbled a world record 76 dogs and buns in 2021.

Our friends at BetOnline will be offering odds on the contest, which takes place July 4.
