Dodgers starting ace Clayton Kershaw has pitched well against the Diamondbacks, which might explain why LA comes into this game as a -220 away favorite. 

Both games in which Kershaw started against Arizona last season resulted in no more than 3 runs scored by the Diamondbacks.  Both those games went UNDER the current total of 7.5 as well. 

Kershaw went 3-1 with a 3.47 ERA versus the Diamondbacks last season and is 10-7 with a 2.45 ERA in 17 career starts against them.
