We got your consensus MLB plays on the Yankees, Padres....and a scary one on the White Sox.  The Rangers are seeing some love as well as they get set to host San Francisco.

White Sox -108

Chicago hosts the Red Sox as a -108 home favorite.

PITCHING PROBABLES: Red Sox: Cooper Criswell (3-2, 3.92 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, 41 strikeouts); White Sox: Garrett Crochet (5-5, 3.49 ERA, 0.93 WHIP, 93 strikeouts)

BOTTOM LINE: The Boston Red Sox take on the Chicago White Sox after Ceddanne Rafaela had four hits on Thursday in a 14-2 win over the White Sox.

Chicago has a 15-48 record overall and a 10-22 record at home. The White Sox have a 7-11 record in games when they scored at least five runs.

Boston has a 32-31 record overall and an 18-13 record on the road. The Red Sox have a 27-5 record in games when they have more hits than their opponents.

Garrett Crochet at 5-5 on this team is pretty good.  He might get lucky and could be heading to the Padres soon.

Crochet held the Brewers to one run over six innings while striking out eight Saturday in a no-decision for the White Sox.   He hasn't had a win in his last two starts.

These teams have mostly split wins and losses.

Dodgers -144

It's hard finding the Yankees as this big a dog (+120) this year.

PITCHING PROBABLES: Dodgers: Yoshinobu Yamamoto (6-2, 3.32 ERA, 1.12 WHIP, 76 strikeouts); Yankees: Cody Poteet (2-0, 2.45 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, 10 strikeouts)

Yamamoto recorded seven strikeouts and allowed one run over six innings on Saturday in a win over the Rockies.  Before that he suffered a loss.

BOTTOM LINE: The New York Yankees host the Los Angeles Dodgers on Friday to open a three-game series.

New York is 45-19 overall and 21-8 at home. Yankees hitters have a collective .336 on-base percentage, the highest percentage in the AL.

Los Angeles is 39-25 overall and 18-13 in road games. The Dodgers have a 32-9 record in games when they out-hit their opponents.

Rangers +102

PITCHING PROBABLES: Giants: Logan Webb (4-5, 2.95 ERA, 1.25 WHIP, 67 strikeouts); Rangers: Michael Lorenzen (3-3, 2.96 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, 44 strikeouts)

BOTTOM LINE: The Texas Rangers start a three-game series at home against the San Francisco Giants on Friday.

Texas is 15-15 at home and 30-32 overall. The Rangers are 11-26 in games when they have allowed at least one home run.

San Francisco has a 30-33 record overall and a 13-19 record in road games. The Giants are 20-3 in games when they have more hits than their opponents.

Should I Bet on the New York Yankees Right Now?

The New York Yankees are among the hottest teams so far in 2024.  Heading into the Weekend of June 7, had you bet on the Yankees every day over their past 32 games, you would have won 25 times.  Outside of the White Sox series, one they swept, the prices tended to stay under -180.
