Cleveland Indians Odds to Win 2011 World Series

While it is still early, the Cleveland Indians have won 5 straight games and lead the American League Central as of early evening Saturday April 9.  Their odds to win the 2011 World Series was still listed at +10000 for a potential $10,000 payout on a $100 bet at SBG Global.

“Expect this price to be cut sharply over the next few days should Cleveland continue to play well,” said Don Shapiro of Gambling911.com.

Cleveland went on an impressive run late Friday, beating the Seattle Mariners by a score of 12-3 with 10 of those runs in the 4th inning.

"It seemed like everybody got up with one or two runners on and it seemed like we had a good stretch there were we'd get a hit, score a run and then there'd be one or two guys still on," the Tribe's Travis Hafner said. "We did a really good job of going down the line and having good at-bats."

Every Indians starter scored at least once.

Elsewhere, The Texas Rangers continue to be hot this season after playing in last year’s World Series, though ultimately losing.  They are the only undefeated Major League Baseball team as of press time and their odds of winning the 2011 World Series had great value at +600 for a payout of $600 on every $100 bet.

Baltimore was the hot team in the AL East with just one loss.  You can get them at +4000 odds currently.
