Average Joe Can Run an Online Sportsbook With Nothing More Than a Smartphone

Everthing, right down to the payment methods, can be orchestrated via one's smartphone when it comes to running an online sportsbook.

When we first started covering the sports betting sector way back in 1999, bookies barely knew how to turn on a computer let alone offer bets on global sports.

Today nearly all aspects of operating a sportsbook is managed by a Pay Per Head software platform.  This includes oddsmaking and line management, customer service, live in-play betting, prop bet generation, report printouts and monitoring.  Customers even have the ability to play in a live dealer online casino.

"Over time, the internet has increased the legality of sports and casino betting," AcePerHead.com tweeted out Wednesday. "The average Joe (is) now able to operate a fully functional sports betting service with nothing more than a smartphone or a laptop."

AcePerHead charges a nominal fee per customer of $4 per week.  Everything is included in the package. Bookies and agents just need to correspond with players and make sure they are happy.  They can also focus more on marketing to new players.

Payments represented the last of the "hands on" jobs a bookie and/or agent still had to oversee even with the Pay Per Head.  They no longer do.  The PPH now offers cryptocurrency and other online payment methods that can be set up in such a way that the bookie/agent doesn't have to collect or make cash payments in person.

Setting up is as easy as 1-2-3.

"A lot of bookie agent management software is preconfigured, especially those that are offered with service packages. What this means for the agent, is that you save a lot of time when setting up your business. Preconfigured software shortens delays that arise from lengthy setups and software configurations."

Each player is provided with your customized website in which to access using an assigned password.  Everything is now automated.

"Before the introduction of bookie agent management software, agents would have to keep track of every single bet taken. If that agent has a lot of clients, it would take a lot of time to run and manage the bets. But with bookie software, you can automatically manage your bets. Therefore saving the agent a lot of valuable time. The software can help an agent manage everything with relative ease, all an agent has to really worry about is attracting new clients and managing all of the money they earn.

"An example of software with automation is Ace Per Head. As all of the bets are made, they are managed and processed automatically. And updated results are generated every second, which provides the agent and players with up-to-date information."

The AcePerHead.com software is optimized for all mobile devices and there are no limitations for account access.

It should also be noted that AcePerHead.com offers a free trial period in order to test driver their PPH platform.  At this time it is 6 weeks free.
