Where Can I Bet on the 2022 Scripps National Spelling Bee Online?

BetOnline has some fun betting options for this year's Scripps National Spelling Bee.  This year's Bee will air on the Scripps-owned networks ION and Bounce and will stream online after having ended a successful run on ESPN.  The semifinals will air on Wednesday, June 1, at 8 p.m. ET and the finals will take place on Thursday, June 2, also at 8 p.m. ET. Both competitions will make their primetime debut on ION.

234 spellers descend on National Harbor, Maryland, to mark the first in-person event since 2019, prior to the global pandemic.

As part of this year's Speling Bee, vocabulary questions and a lightning-round tiebreaker will be incorporated to ensure a single champion emerges.

Actor and literacy advocate LeVar Burton will host.

Along with bragging rights, the champion of the Scripps competition will win $52,5000 in cash prizes, and $400 worth of Encyclopedia Britannica works.
