You can bet on this year's Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest at BetUS, where we have discovered over a dozen prop offerings.

Betting is Not Just About Joey Chestnut Winning

Joey Chestnut is the undisputed champion of competitive eating.  If he were an NFL player, he'd be Tom Brady on steroids in terms of shattering all kinds of records and dominance.

Hence the reason why BetUS is offering the men's outright winner without Joey Chestnut.

With that you get a more competitive field that includes

Geoffrey Esper paying out $25 on a $10 bet, Nick Wehry paying $35, Darron Breedon paying $55 and Gideon Oji paying $80.

Total Hot Dogs Eaten Prop Bet

BetUS has the total number of hot dogs eaten by the winner set at 76.5.   The Over pays out $20 on a $10 bet.

Additionally you can wager on individual competitor totals, including Chestnut.

Top Female

Unfortunately, BetUS does not offer wagering on the outright winner without Miki Sudo in the women's category.  She's the female Joey Chestnut when it comes to the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest and is priced out of range at -4000.

How to Watch

This event will be held on the 4th of July on ESPN, which owns the exclusive live broadcast rights starting at 10:45am and running through 1:05 pm ET. The women's competition coverage will begin at 10:45am ET and will be telecast live on ESPN3 and ESPNEWS.

Limited Betting With the Regulated Apps

As of last year, DraftKings could only offer betting on the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest from three states: New Jersey, Colorado and New Hampshire.  Some regulated sportsbooks may opt not to take bets on this competition as they are even further limited.  Only DraftKings is permitted to take any wagers from the state of New Hampshire.
