Tennessee Approves Online Sports Betting
Tennessee became one of around a dozen states to legalize sportsbook within its borders since the US Supreme Court ruled to allow sports betting nationwide. Individual states, however, must still amend their own laws in most cases. Some are unwilling to do so or there are conflicts, primarily with the powerful tribes, that are preventing this.

There are No Sportsbooks Near Chattanooga
The closest sportsbook can be found just under 3 hours east in Cherokee, North Carolina. That state legalized sports wagering at two tribal casinos but operate opposite of Tennessee in that North Carolina will not be offering mobile sports betting.

There will be lots of Vols bets. They have a successful football and basketball program. The men's Vols made it into the 2023 NCAA College Basketball Tournament.
