Heading into May 21, Toronto was looking to even its series with the Milwaukee Bucks.

In Toronto, and throughout Canada for that matter, everyone is jumping on the Raptors bandwagon.  This is all translating into a surge in betting activity from that country.

“It’s pretty clear that the Toronto Raptors are putting on quite the show for Canadian Basketball fans, and the excitement of the Raptors making it into the conference and potentially the NBA finals is starting to bleed into viewership and betting statistics,” explained Nate Johnson, Product Manager of PayPerHead.com.

Viewership records in Canada are being broken, and this was in early May.  Overall, 29% more of Canada's population is watching Raptors games compared to last year.

“Last year, PayPerHead experienced an increase of Canadian traffic on our website and sign-up pages. We’ve also seen news reports of Canadian MPs lobbying towards legalizing sports gambling,” said Johnson. “It’s quite obvious that Canadians are looking to get in on the sports betting action, and potentially create a business for themselves.”

PayPerHead.com is a software and service provider that charges a weekly fee per player (gambler) to provide full outsourcing for bookmakers and agents.

Needless-to-say, the demand for this type of Pay Per Head product is higher than ever in Canada, especially the Toronto area.

Pay Per Head Fees – How They Work

Many folks new to the world of Pay Per Heads often have questions about the fees.  The word itself usually results in negative connotations such as those useless fees charged by your bank or when on vacation at a fancy resort.
