It's easier than ever before to start your own sports betting site from the beautiful state of Arizona. Ever since the U.S. Supreme Court ruled to allow sports betting in all 50 states, everybody wants to be a bookmaker.  It is important to abide by local laws, however.  Each state must amend its current laws.  Established Pay Per Head businesses can help you set up today.

Why Use a Pay Per Head

One of the largest Pay Per Head companies on the planet, AcePerHead.com is a full service, 24/7 provider of online bookmaking software with odds on nearly every sport, monitored every second in order to be responsive to injury and trade news as well as sharp action coming in.   AcePerHead.com also offers LIVE IN-PLAY WAGERING for all nationally televised games right up to the final second of play.  You are in full control of your business without having to do hardly any work.

Will Arizona Have Actual Sportsbooks Now That Sports Betting is Legal?

"It's going to be up to the policymakers here - the governor, the legislature to make those decisions, whether they want to allow sports gambling, working with tribal governments," Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich said.

If only it were that easy.

Arizona’s Governor Doug Ducey is in the middle of renegotiating the voter-approved, 2002 gaming compact that governs tribal gambling in the state.  The Tribes two-dozen casinos pay out about $80 million to the state under the gaming compact and will need to be part of any discussions concerning sports betting.

Ducey might know better than anyone else how successful sports betting operations can be.  His grandfather, Bill Scott, was one of the original offshore bookmakers.  His World Wide Tele Sports, eventually bought out by what was then Bodog (now Bovada), was among the most successful of those companies.

Lawmakers would then have to sign off on legalizing sports betting.  Remember, this is the state that brought us Senator Jon Kyl, who Ducey actually placed in the late Senator John McCain’s place.  Kyl was the author of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA), which practically shut down online gambling in the States.  Kyl did appear to change his stance on the activity towards the end of his term, it should be noted.   Kyl is likely to have a say, at least next year, as he can hold onto McCain's seat until 2020.

The earliest any legislation could be debated would be January 2019, with the start of the next legislative session.

Pay Per Head Fees – How They Work

Many folks new to the world of Pay Per Heads often have questions about the fees.  The word itself usually results in negative connotations such as those useless fees charged by your bank or when on vacation at a fancy resort.
