The Queenslander Barty is on track to record the rarest of doubles this season after completing another outstanding week with a doubles title in Rome.

She combined with dual-Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka to win the Italian Open and will share the winning purse of $242,100.

“There were ebbs and flows a little bit (and) a few momentum changes in the match,” Barty said.

“But I think that the way we started the second set, in particular, we were able to keep the foot down, keep the momentum going through the tiebreaker as well.”

Caroline Garcia will pay 7/1 odds, Qiang Wang 12/1 and Monica Puig 14/1.

Laura Siegemund was all over the map from 11/1 odds to 30/1 odds of winning the 2019 WTA Strasbourg.
