Oliveira Stripped of Title for Failing to Make Weight

Charles Oliveira has been stripped of his Lightweight title for failing to make weight.

He was still the favorite to win Saturday night at UFC 274, but the Fight Guys have Justin Gaethje winning this one with a payout of $124 on every $100 bet.

He was required to weigh 155 pounds on the dot ahead of his Justin Gaethje title fight on May 7 in Phoenix with zero allowance.

Oliveira came in at 156 pounds, one over.

Gaethje weighed in at exactly 155 pounds.

Oliveira had exactly one hour to lose the additional weight but failed to do so. As a result, the lightweight title has been vacated. The fight will still take place on Sat. night but the title will remain vacant if Oliveira wins.
