ACR Poker, one of the world's top five largest online poker rooms, appeared to be nearing full recovery after refunds went missing as a result of technical issues on December 22nd.

In a heartfelt holiday message, ACR Poker CEO Phil Nagy claimed not to have slept for three days or to have wished his mother a Merry Christmas.

Players reported online tournaments crashing through the Christmas Day holiday with refunds not showing in accounts.

And while the issue did not affect all ACR Poker players, quite a few were impacted, according to Nagy.

"For those of us with funds stuck, it's take a breath, it's look outside, it's enjoy your family and we will be back to normal very soon."

Though Dr. Seuss may be rolling over in his grave, at least the CEO of this online gambling site is hands on and admits when there are issues.  Try getting that from the CEOs of DraftKings or BetMGM.

The cause of the Christmas time gremlin invasion was not immediately known though the site did recently embark on its largest software upgrade in years.

By Friday, ACR Poker reported nearly all of its poker players had been made whole while it still worked on other aspects of its business.

"After some technical issues with transactions (transfers, P2Ps, deposits, payouts, money stuck on tables) on December 22nd, refunds have now been credited to affected player accounts. Note we're still working on refunds for Casino transactions. Thank you for your patience."

Not all the ACR customers were feeling the holiday spirit earlier in the week, however.

"Maybe you should put out a poem from your CEO, that does absolutely nothing to address the problem, or fix the issues.  Personally, I know that a poorly written Christmas poem, would go a long way in helping to make me feel better about the loss of money/EV."

Rough crowd.

ACR Poker has operated for nearly 25 years from its base in San Jose, Costa Rica and has been a Gambling911.com sponsor for just over 18 years now.
