Our wise guy picks were outstanding last week and so was the football, capped by a Monday night showdown that had the remaining members of the 1972 Dolphins lifting their champagne glasses. For one more season that team will remain the only unbeaten Super Bowl champion after the 49ers were handed a 27-24 overtime setback by the Seattle Seahawks. That outcome also tightened the race in the NFC West. While the Niners lost last week our wise guys didn’t, coming through on all three of the games we monitored.

Underdogs had a good last week going 8-5 straight up and 9-3-1 against the spread. The biggest upset belonged to Atlanta, which helped save Dan Quinn’s job for at least a week with a 26-9 verdict over New Orleans as a 13.5-point pup. We can officially say the Dolphins aren’t tanking the season after they won again, knocking off the Colts, 16-12, as an 11-point dog on the closing line. Wise guys sided with the Fins for that matchup and it paid off. So did having Brian Hoyer start for the Colts.

Sharp action on the Cardinals also proved profitable when they covered the line in a, 30-27, loss to the Buccaneers in the Bruce Arians Bowl. Wise guys bought the Cards at +6 and they still covered when the line dropped to +4.5. Taking the under in the Green Bay-Carolina game was another winner. It’s hard to score in a blizzard and the teams didn’t have enough.

Four teams take a bye in Week 11 leaving 14 games on the schedule. That leaves us plenty of chances to win more money from online sportbooks. So let’s get to it by following wise guys plays on the schedule. And remember, BookMaker will have spreads and totals for every NFL matchup during the 2019 season. NFL Week 11 Wise Guy Picks

New York Jets at Washington Redskins ( -1.5, 38.5 )

The 1-8 Skins are actually a favorite on the opening line for this matchup with the Jets. Not a complete surprise since Gang Green is a mess and the Skins are home. The story for this one, though, is the total. Opening at 37.5 the public backed the under with over 60 percent of the action. These are after all two of the lowest scoring teams in the NFL.

In a true sign of sharp action, the number spiked a point to 38.5. That’s because we also have two teams that aren’t very good defensively. I guess that’s why they have three wins between them. Sam Darnold looked competent in a win over the Giants and there’s hope the Jets offense can replicate its performance. They cashed the over for a third straight game and for the fourth time in five outings. And maybe the Skins will get more than nine points with Dwayne Haskins starting again.

Arizona Cardinals at San Francisco 49ers ( -11.5, 45.5 )

Another game where wise guys are toying with the total is this NFC West matchup. The number hit the board at 44 and early action had over 70 percent backing the under. The Niners have the second-best scoring defense in the league while the Cards have shown promise on that side of the ball. A sign of sharp action is seeing the spread or total go against the public and the number increased to 45.5.

Just a few weeks ago the teams cashed the over in a Thursday night tilt with the Niners holding on for a 28-25 win. The Niners have played over the closing total in three straight games after Monday’s contest with Seattle. The Cards have gone over in their last two and Kyler Murray has some Russell Wilson to his game, and we saw how the Niners struggled with that in their Monday night loss.

Chicago Bears at Los Angeles Rams ( -6.5, 41.5 )

Two teams that have been a big disappointment so far grab the Sunday Night Football stage in an attempt to keep fleeting playoff hopes alive. And while Mitchell Trubisky and the Bears have been shaky, it looks like wise guys have lost confidence in the defending NFC champions. The Rams opened as an 8-point favorite and got over 55 percent of the early action. However, the line dropped to -6.5.

It’s another sign of sharp money backing the Bears. The Rams haven’t been explosive on offense and if Trubisky wasn’t so bad, the pro football pundits would likely hang Jared Goff out to dry. Goff has struggled and was outplayed by Mason Rudolph last week. We’ll see who gets the better of this matchup; wise guys are backing Trubisky.
