Most Wagered On Sides - Monday November 26

Outside of the New England Patriots, the books have mostly been blessed over the past weekend with big public sides failing to produce. We look to see if this trend continues Monday.

Books have made out like bandits in recent days with the Washington Huskies and USC Trojans in College Football and the Vikings, Broncos and Seahawks in the NFL, not withstanding the beatdown they suffered at the hands of New England.

Today, the primary focus of course is on the Monday Night Football game between the Titans and Texans.

The line on this game opened at Houston -7.  It's dropped as low as -3.5 (BetOnline)

The Texans were seeing better than 70% of the spread action at -4, which is quite substantial for a Monday Night Football game.

While the most recent trend has been a move from -3.5 to -4, the overall week long trend has been to drive action the Texans way.  Books anticipate a Titans cover even though they are considered the Jekyll and Hyde of this season's NFL slate.

The Sagarin Ratings suggests a line of between -4.5 and -5 Texas, which falls right in the middle of the week long line movement of 7 to 3.5.  We here at Gambling911.com would completely disregard the Sagarin Ratings for this game.

More importantly is recent historical stats between these two division foes.

The home team has won the last five in this series and seven of the last eight. Tennessee though has won three of the last four meetings.  Each of Houston's last home wins against the Titans have been by a touchdown or more.

But in the end, the books do see Tennessee able to cover here, maybe even win.

The Titans-Texans isn't the only game in town Monday.

The Cavs were seeing around 85% of the early spread action hosting Minnesota as a +6 home dog.

Some of the sharp books are flirting with the -5.5 in an effort to get more action on the T-Wolves.  This one has come down from Timberwolves -7.

Correction to an initial observation made within the first 15 minutes of this piece going up, the books do not appear to have an early opinion on this game and the action would be deemed to nominal as to matter one way or another.  The line is simply moving in accordance with bets coming in.
