PITCHING MATCHUP: Rockies RH Antonio Senzatela (2-1, 3.93 ERA) vs. Brewers RH Chase Anderson (2-0, 3.20)

Senzatela has made three starts since coming off the injured list in the middle of April, increasing his work load to 105 pitches in a win at Atlanta on Friday. He limited the Braves to three runs over 5 2/3 innings in the victory to improve to 16-11 lifetime as a starter. The 24-year-old held the Brewers to two runs in five frames in Game 1 of last year's NLDS at Milwaukee, and he spun five scoreless innings against them in the only prior regular-season matchup, which came in his MLB debut in 2017.

After five relief appearances to begin the year, Anderson has moved back into a starting role with some positive results. The University of Oklahoma product blanked the Los Angeles Dodgers over five innings April 20 and then yielded two runs in 4 2/3 frames at the New York Mets on Friday. Third baseman Nolan Arenado is 8-for-27 with four home runs against Anderson, who has a 4.68 ERA in 12 career starts versus Colorado.

Senzatela is a solid starter and the Rockies are putting together one of the best bullpens in Major League Baseball.

Note that the Brewers are also looking to bolster their own bullpen.

Joining the team from Class AAA San Antonio were left-hander Donnie Hart and right-hander Jay Jackson. Heading out were right-hander Aaron Wilkerson, who was placed on the 10-day injured list, and right-hander Alex Wilson, who was designated for assignment.
