The line on the Bengals-Colts game for Week 1 was Indianapolis -3.5 at most books Mid-August. Some had the Colts at -3.

The number initially opened all over the map from Colts -1 to -2.5.

Action was relatively balanced for this game.

Cincinnati was favored at -160 to win OVER 6.5 regular season games.

Indianapolis was an even bigger favorite at -200 to win OVER 6.5 regular season games.

Both teams are trying to regroup following disappointing 2017 seasons in which they combined for an 11-21 record.  

It should be noted that the Colts got an almost entirely new coaching staff this offseason.  Andrew Luck is set to return as starting quarterback.

The Bengals have a new defensive coordinator in Teryl Austin and what appears to be a solid rookie class.
