Navy opened at -7.  The line had dropped to -6.5, indicating an opinion on Army to cover.  20% of the books were still holding at 70% and these were mostly recreational shops.

Zach Abey ran for 128 yards with a pair of touchdowns and Navy snapped a seven-game losing streak with a 37-29 victory over Tulsa on Saturday.

Head to Head

Ideally we will want to look at past head-to-head history between these two teams.  Even with yearly changes - for good or for bad - team rivalries can bring out the best in even the worst team.

In this case, Army is the obvious favorite in 2018 having lost just two games this season compared to Navy having only won three.  This has resulted in a line of Army -6.5.

While Navy has won eight of the last ten games in this series, Army won the last two.  Over this period, the Black Knights did manage to go 7-3 Against The Spread.

Those Army victories were by just four points.

This one will be played in Philadelphia, making for a neutral field.  Both teams play just over two hours from this stadium (Navy in Anapolis, Army in West Point, New York).
