Demosthenes Kiriopoulos (24,905,000) and Joshua Remitio (21,490,000) followed closely behind.

"I'm just taking it one level at a time. I am kind of shocked I've made it this far. This is my first main event and I don't really play any tournaments to begin with. I'm just trying to wake up from this dream," Remitio said.

One of the more notable players to crack the top 10 is Argentinian rapper Alejandro Lococo, better known by his recording name "Papo MC".

"Update: good vibes come and feel, keep sending. Let's go for that day 6 of the main event of the World Series of Poker," he tweeted ahead of yesterday's play.
