Ohio State the Big Early Public Favorite Despite the Price

The Buckeyes were seeing almost all of the money line action despite a price tag of -2570 at some books.

Some 85% of those betting the spread for this game were backing Ohio State as well.  The spread is set at -27.5 at most of the sharper books and as high as -28.5 at the recreational sites.  You can actually bet both sides at different books if you think this one will somehow fall on Ohio State 28.

Two Big Wins in a Row for Gambling911

Our pick two nights ago did not rely heavily on number movements, but more so on trends.

Seeing the Cubs as a big +182 underdog the other day forced our hand.  The Cubs came into that game 13-3 versus the Mets.  And, to make things even more enticing, the Mets were 3-13 in Jacob deGrom's last 16 home starts vs. a team with a winning record and 0-5 in his last 5 starts vs. National League Central.

The Mets won.

Last night we were focused more heavily on the line movement.

In this case, the Dodgers number was dropping even though they were seeing most of the action.

Arizona did win that one.

We're now at 60% with our Major League Baseball picks this season with a 26-17-2 record.

As of this writing, we were about to start studying the MLB matchups for today, however, we do have a pick in College Football.  That would be Boise State at +7.
