The highly-anticipated premier of "Godzilla vs. Kong" debuts this week, but who will America be rooting for when the most iconic monster battle ever hits the silver screen?
Well, one betting website decided to (somewhat) scientifically piece together a “rooting interest” map that displays exactly which U.S. states will be cheering for King Kong and which will be going for Godzilla.
The research conducted by BetOnline.ag was performed over the past month, and the team analyzed geotagged Twitter data for more than 300,000 tweets that included relevant hashtags such as #TeamKong and #TeamGodzilla.

The data shows a lopsided love for Godzilla with exactly 82.0% of America rooting for the dragon-esque monster.
