That "big news" is what should be an epic match between Hellmuth and Tom Dwan.

"This Thursday, @phil_hellmuth takes on @TomDwan in High Stakes Duel III Round 4. It's an $800,000 match and the biggest yet! Watch it on @PokerGO."

Hellmuth is the World Series record bracelet winner at 16.  He's won $26,000,000 in career live tournaments.

As of March 2019, Dwan's total live tournament winnings exceed $3.1 million, however, he is believed to have won a significant amount online over the past 15 years.

Dwan has been mentioned of late as part of a wider discussion on poker cheaters.  Poker pro Daniel Cates continues to claim Dwan owes him money as part of a long standing dispute spanning over a decade.

Hellmuth himself has been in the news of late following a series of embarassing outbursts at the tables, the latest of which he apologized for.

Followers of Hellmuth's alluded to the matter via Twitter.

"So many questions to be answered. If @TomDwan wins will he use the money to pay off any of his countless debts? Will @phil_hellmuth last 11.5 minutes before making his first eye rollingly jackass statement? I’m gonna say no and no. But inquiring minds def wanna know."
