We are advised by someone in the Reddit community that when placing a bet of up to US$200, Draftkings will match it with another $200. You can use that free bet the next day and apparently withdraw any winnings immediately, though there are no instances as of yet where players have done so. They were credited with the free bet almost immediately however.
"They are matching with a freeplay, not cash. So it only has a value of about $83.33 to the average person," one of the Redditor's noted.
Compare this to an internationally-licensed website like BetPhoenix, in business since 2007 and offering up to $1000 FREE CASH. This one does include a catch in the form of a rollover requirement. While BetPhoenix is known for high rollovers, they feel that customers will want to keep playing on the site and serious sports bettors won't be put off by a rollover, no matter how high it might be.
