Books Win Just as Long as the Dodgers Lose

Four Major League Baseball teams are vying for a World Series appearance and victory.  For the books, all eyes will be on the LA Dodgers.

Dave Mason of BetOnline tweeted out that the Dodgers are his book's biggest liability.  All the other teams would provide healthy profits should either win.

BetOnline may get lucky as Atlanta started the season off with a win and LA scratched their ace Clayton Kershaw for Game 2.

Kershaw was suffereing from back spasms Tuesday morning.

Tony Gonsolin, a rookie, will start in Kershaw's place.

The line on this game was now Los Angeles -167, Atlanta +150, O/U 7.5.

Gonsolin has been among the best rookies, posting a 2.31 ERA, a 0.84 WHIP and a 6.57 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 46⅔ innings. Gonsolin going in Game 2 means Julio Urias probably will go in Game 3. After that, it gets complicated, especially after Dustin May faced eight batters in Monday's 5-1 loss.
