One of the crueler Super bowl 53 prop bets is whether Gladys Knight omits or forgets a word when she perform's the National Anthem at the start of the big game.

Knight had a falling out with her one son a few years back.  He claimed she was suffereing from Alzheimer's Disease.  She denied this was the case.

And the oddsmakers do have confidence in the "Midnight Train to Georgia" singer.

They have NO as the big -500 favorite.

But if you think she's going to forget one of the words, the payout is $30 for every $10 bet.

I'm not even joking: the mere suggestion that the Empress of Soul might not know the words to the Star Spangled Banner is worthy of eternal damnation.
