The Oscar for Best Picture will be a dogfight between two films from this past year, according to the odds.
MaximBet, the online sports betting and casino operating behind the iconic Maxim magazine brand, released odds for this Sunday's Academy Awards.
Oscars odds tend to be lopsided with an overwhelming favorite, but it looks like this year the most notable category, Best Picture, will be a tight race.
CODA (-150) is the favorite, just barely, over The Power of the Dog (-120), according to the odds below. The rest of the nominees are longshots, having 15-1 odds or greater.
The two are neck-and-neck for Best Adapted Screenplay as well, with CODA again having a slight edge on The Power of the Dog.
