With a win over the Green Bay Packers Thursday night, the Arizona Cardinals will have gone 8-0 and remain the only unbeaten team in the NFL this season.  The Cardinals haven't been in this spot since 1974.

After opening at -3.5, the line nearly doubled to -6.5 on word that the Packers will likely have numerous players on the sideline, star wide receiver Davante Adams.  Also out: T Dennis Kelly (back) DOUBTFUL; CB Kevin King (shoulder, back), LB Preston Smith (oblique) QUESTIONABLE.

The odds of Adams playing are close to zero per Steve Wyche of the NFL Network..  He won't be traveling with the team and remains on the reserve/COVID-19 list this week, according to Wyche.

The Cards might be an even bigger favorite if not for their own injury woes.  Their defensive end, J.J. Watt, will sit this one out with a shoulder injury.

Our Tommy D. breaks this one down with more plays found here.

In addition to tonight’s Thursday Night Football Game in the NFL, there are a pair of college football games that our Tommy D has a very strong play on both of those games.
