Last March, poker players at Carbon Poker thoroughly enjoyed the month long Poker Maximus tournament series and they have been asking for round two. Well, Carbon has obliged as Poker Maximus II starts on September 6th, 2012.

Poker Maximus II isn’t quite as long as the original since it has 35 events spread out over 10 days but it still has $1.3 million in guaranteed prizes. Each day during that 10-day span will have at least three Poker Maximus events so whether your game is specifically Hold’em in all its forms or you like to branch out and play Omaha and HORSE events for example, Poker Maximus II has something for everyone.

Like the first time around, the Maximus II series will close with two co-Main events on Sunday, September 16th and both are No-Limit Hold’em Freezeout tournaments. The first is considered the “Low” with a guaranteed prize pool of $150K while the “High” has a guaranteed payout of $200K. That isn’t chump change to say the least…

Players can’t forget about all the Poker Maximus satellites offered either. Sometimes players prefer to try and win their way into the bigger events and Carbon Poker has plenty of Poker Maximus II Satellites running daily. For a full list of when these events are offered, click here.

Finally, players can’t forget about the Poker Maximus II Leaderboard. This tracks players achievements throughout all the events and the player with the most points by the end of it will receive a $2,300 cash prize. The top ten players get prize money and there are also a new set of accolades available to players who do well during the 10-day event.

Like the original Poker Maximus series, this is an event poker players do not want to miss. Register today for Poker Maximus II!
