Poker pro Mike "The Mouth" Matusow posted over the weekend a photo of him with Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz along with the FBI Director, Kash Patel.
"Had dinner with these 2 American heros! @SenTedCruz and @FBIDirectorKash," Matusow tweeted.
"The Mouth" had already announced this month he would be attending a poker fundraising event with Cruz.
A number of Matusow's followers began questioning why Patel would be hanging out with the outspoken poker player.
Norman Chad tweeted: "I’ve seen Kash at every UFC fight since he took over FBI. And I believe his FBI office is at Caesar’s Palace."
It wasn't lost on Feel Player that the FBI hasn't always had the best relationship with the online poker playing community.
"You tell @FBIDirectorKash to remove the UIGEA, that banned internet poker, bring it back!"

And then there was J, who tweeted:
"A picture of 3 people all bad at their jobs LMAO."
And this from Scott Friedman:
"Name 1 way fled is a hero. He took his kids to cancun during the blackout storm here and then blamed it ON HIS OWN KIDS. That's piece of shit behavior."
Rough crowd to be sure, but this is typical of most of "The Mouth's" tweets.
To be fair, most of the posts were from folks congratulating Mike for the photo op.
Cruz is a poker player who has appeared on Poker After Dark. It's not really known whether Patel plays poker or was just along for the ride.
