Sunday marks Americas Cardroom's largest Sunday tournament this month, but it's this Friday and Saturday when the US-friendly cardroom could see its biggest table traffic yet. The online poker site today confirmed that it has added a number of last-minute direct-entry qualifiers to its schedule, each one guaranteeing two seats in Sunday's big $200,000 tournament.
"We know our players love big tournaments, so it's our goal to push the $200,000 prize pool even higher on Sunday," said Americas Cardroom spokesperson Michael Harris. "We've packed our schedule with a number of low buy-in qualifiers leading up to Sunday, so there's no shortage of opportunity to win a seat in the tournament for just a few bucks."
This Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 7:00pm ET, Americas Cardroom will hold its massive $200,000 Guaranteed tournament. Qualifiers and freerolls for the $200,000 Guaranteed Texas Hold'em tournament are now live.
On Friday and Saturday, the online poker site is holding direct-entry satellites for the $200k Guaranteed Tournament at 4:00pm, 5:30pm, 7:30pm, 9:00pm, and 10:30pm, all times ET. The buy-in for the direct-entry satellites cost $5+0.50 and features a 60-minute rebuy period. The 2-seat guarantee is double what's been offered between Monday and Thursday at the same timeslots. Poker players unable to win their seat can buy in directly for $200+15.
The online poker site is also sending its players to the Latin Series of Poker in May with, a land-based $500,000 tournament that's becoming quite popular among its community.
