2010 WSOP Update: William Thorson On Top

Sweden’s William Thorson has knocked off Denmark’s Theo Jorgensen from the top of the 2010 WSOP leaderboard heading into Friday evening with only 51 players left in the field. 

Thorson has won over $2 million in live tournaments including the 2006 World Series of Poker main event where he cashed out at just under $1 million in 13^th place.

In second place was Italy’s Filippo Candio, a relative unknown.  He was just ahead of Jorgensen.
