The big US airlines might want to start adding more flights to Punta Cana this October. Americas Cardroom is handing out 12 more Punta Cana Poker Classic packages worth $5,000 apiece this Sunday (August 12), offering winners the poker vacation of a lifetime at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

On Sunday, August 12 at 6:00pm ET, Americas Cardroom hosts a Guaranteed Punta Cana Poker Classic tournament where at least 12 $5,000 Punta Cana Poker Classic prize packages will be guaranteed. The tournament is expected to attract significant attention, so even more prize packages could be handed out.

Each package includes one Main Event buy-in, 6-night hotel accommodations for two, all-you-can-handle food and drinks (alcohol included) for two, airfare up to $800, a $1,500 resort credit, 24-hour premium room service for two, a welcome gift bag, ground transportation in Punta Cana, and more.

Sunday's Punta Cana TWELVE $5k pkgs GTD costs $100+9 to get into. Players can choose to register directly or win their way through a low buy-in qualifier from as low as $0.55. The Texas Hold'em tournament is a Re-Entry event with 15-minute blinds.

Americas Cardroom also introduced early this week the $500 Discount for Punta Cana series of tournaments. Players can register into smaller tournaments and win $500 discounts for the Punta Cana Poker Classic this year or future live events in 2013. The discount can be used to purchase the package directly or any other tournament in the Punta Cana Poker Classic Series.

Entering its third year, the Punta Cana Poker Classic tournament takes place at the Vegas-style Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Dominican Republic from October 12th through 18th with a guaranteed prize pool of $500,000.
