Just like with the Men's Trap Shooting gold medal event where Giovanni Cernogoraz (CRO) is double the favorite of the next batch of competition, Fatima Galvez (ESP) is double the favorite of her competition in the Women's Trap.
Per Wikipedia: Trap shooting is distinguished by the targets being launched from a single "house" or machine, generally away from the shooter, compared with skeet shooting where targets are launched from two "houses" crossing in front of the shooter. Sporting clays involve a more complex course, with many launch points.
A Spanish sport shooter, Galvez was the World champion in the individual trap event at the 2015 World Shotgun Championships, and won the Olympic champion in the team event at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
She promises a payout of $340 for every $100 bet in this event.
