The Stanley Cup Finals are set and it’s a doozy.

Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl try to win their first Stanley Cup in a rematch of last year’s final against the Florida Panthers.

Last year’s final went seven games with the Panthers winning the first three, the Oilers winning the next three and the Panthers closing out game seven at home.

It was the Panthers first ever Stanley Cup and this will be their third straight trip to the finals.

In terms of Edmonton, the last time they won the Stanley Cup was in 1990 and was without Wayne Gretzky.

Will the Oilers win their first cup since 1990 and Canada’s first cup since 1992? Or will Florida win back-to-back cups and the state’s fourth Cup in six years?

The oddsmakers at BetOnline.ag have made Edmonton a slight favorite to win the Stanley Cup and end Canada’s long hockey suffering.
