The Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Cleveland Browns line has moved from Jaguars -3 to +3.  70 percent of the betting action was coming in on Cleveland at most books.

Battle of the Backups

Joe Flacco, the fourth starter at the position for Cleveland this season, is in line to get a second consecutive start this week with Dorian Thompson-Robinson limited by a concussion.

While the Browns QB situation has been in flux throughout much of the season, Jacksonville is new to this.

On Monday, Jaguars starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence suffered a high ankle sprain in a home loss to Cincinnati.  He's been in a walking boot and missed practice Wednesday before returning Thursday in a limited capacity. He's still a game-time decision, but even if Lawrence plays one must assume he won't be at 100 percent.

Backup C.J. Beathard will get the starting nod for a Jacksonville team (8-4) if Lawrence cannot play.

Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski said the team is preparing for both Lawrence and Beathard to play for the Jaguars.

"There's tape on both guys," Stefanski said. "With Beathard, there's tape on him as well. We know what his strengths are. He led the team the other night and put them in position. He's a very heady football player."
