Gambling911.com’s Thomas Somach has confirmed that the CBS news magazine “60 Minutes” will be airing an update on a story about online gambling that featured co-founders of the now defunct sports betting site World Sports Exchange

Somach tells Gambling911.com "60 Minutes" will simply be mentioning the suicide, likely at the end of an upcoming program.  The exact date is not known.  The original story about WSEX.com and Schillinger from 12 years ago is not likely to be re-aired.

One of those co-founders, Steve Schillinger, committed suicide last month by shooting himself in the head.  “60 Minutes” will be updated its past segment to reflect this tragedy.

Another tragedy, at least where the WSEX.com customers are concerned, is the millions of dollars still owed to them.

Another of the co-founders, Hayden Ware, has apparently wiped his hands clean of the sports betting company and now resides in a converted Berlin, Germany brewery

The third co-founder, Jay Cohen, returned to Antigua to help run the company after serving nearly two years in a Nevada federal prison for violating the Wire Act.  His whereabouts remain unknown.
