Vanity Fair on Thursday featured a piece profiling the men behind Daily Fantasy Sports biggest sites, DraftKings and FanDuel: Nigel Eccles and Jason Robins.

Both Eccles and Robins have been included in Vanity Fair’s prestigious “New Establishment 2015”, billed as the most important visionaries, investors, and cultural leaders in “the Year of the Unicorn.”

From Vanity Fair:

While sports gambling remains illegal in much of the United States, fantasy-sports gambling is exempt from the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006. As such, it represents a remarkable growth area. FanDuel, the more established of the two companies, paid out more than $560 million to more than a million paying players in 2014, according to its site. But the Boston-based upstart DraftKings recently won the exclusive right to advertise on ESPN, which will make it harder for FanDuel to attract new players.
