The Sports Betting Community (SBC) in association with iGaming Super Show announced that its second Ice, Ice, Baby party will be bigger and better than last years.
This years’ event will take place on Tuesday 24th January with the venue being the über cool Grace Bar in the heart of London’s trendy Soho with a capacity for 1,100 iGaming professionals.
The evening which offers a relaxed environment to entertain existing clients and generate new business leads, will include free drinks and food courtesy of organisers and event sponsors, Betradar, Sofort, RealEX Payments, Square in the Air, Paysafecard, Daily Sports, Ukash, and the Press Association with media partners’ iGaming Business and Intergamingi and the Show Daily.
Rasmus Soejmark, SBC Founder and CEO said, “After the phenomenal success of last year’s inaugural Ice, Ice, Baby party held on the first evening of the opening of the world famous ICE Totally Gaming Show, which was attended by 800 of the top movers and shakers of the iGaming industry, we had to secure a larger venue to accommodate the demand for invitations and from sponsors.”

Floridians Want Las Vegas-Style Casino Gambling - Floridians narrowly support the creation of casino resorts even though most of them believe that they would be good for the state's economy, a new poll released today found. The poll, by Quinnipiac University, also found that Florida voters overwhelmingly oppose the idea of cutting Medicaid spending to put more money into education. On gambling, 48 percent of those polled said they support expanded casino gambling in the state, while 43 percent are opposed and 9 percent don't know. The question they were asked was: "Do you support or oppose the creation of non-Indian casinos in Florida, similar to those in Atlantic City and Las Vegas?" Despite that slim margin of support, a much larger group believes they would help the economy, even if they don't want them here. By a 61-33 percent margin, respondents said they thought casino gambling would boost the economy. [News Service of Florida]
New Jersey Lawmakers Pass Sports Betting Bill in Waning Minutes – A measure to legalize sports betting in the state of New Jersey sailed through both the state Senate and Assembly late Monday, but with few minutes to spare as this was the final day of the last session. A new session was to begin Tuesday (Jan. 10) and the bill would have had to be reintroduced. That could have resulted in significant delays in getting this piece of legislation passed. Residents of New Jersey overwhelmingly voted in favor of a referendum to bring sports betting to their state back in November. Next stop: The Governor’s desk and Gov. Chris Christie has made every indication that he will sign the bill. The hardest part will be to have a federal law banning sports betting in all but a handful of states repealed. [Gambling911.com]
Coney Island Casino? - There is a push to bring casino gambling to Coney Island and it’s getting mixed reactions from the locals.
