Here are some 2010 Week 6 College Football betting trends for games that take place prior to Saturday.
With the exception of the Nebraska vs. Kansas State game, these matchups likely won’t get the type of attention from oddsmakers that we will see with a number of the marquee Saturday games. As such, it is important to focus on some of the key trends to see which side or total has an edge.
Troy vs. Middle Tennessee State – As an underdog over the last three games, Troy has gone OVER 7-0. The OVER/UNDER here is 62 at Bookmaker.com. There might not be enough here to get people excited over that OVER however. This game goes off Tuesday night.
UAB vs. UCF - As an underdog of 10.5 to 21 points, UAB is a mere 1-6 ATS over the last three seasons. Central Florida has dominated this series 6-1. They have beaten UCF by the current spread of -13 three of those times but only once in the last four games.
Nebraska vs. Kansas State - As a favorite of 10.5 to 21 points, Nebraska is just 1-6 over the last three seasons. They are, however, 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games as a road favorite of 10.5 or greater.
Connecticut vs. Rutgers – Connecticut is 6-1 against the spread versus RUTGERS since 1992. They are a -6 point favoriteagainst the home team Rutgers.
Oklahoma State vs. UL Lafayette – OK State may be a huge -24 point favorite but they are certainly favored when it comes to historic College Football betting trends. 8-1 in Weeks 3 through 9 and 14-5 as a favorite over the last three seasons. Don Shapiro reporting for Gambling911.com.
