The Nationals vs. Cubs series betting line for May 26 had Chicago as a +108 home underdog and Washington at -118 overnight.  There was no total on this game as of Monday evening.

Jordan Zimmermann will pitch for the Nationals.   At 4-2 on the season thus far, Zimmermann delivered seven innings of two-run ball Wednesday in a win over the Yankees, striking out six while allowing just five hits and a walk.  He has not allowed more than 4 runs while pitching at least six innings over the last seven starts.  The Washington relievers have only given up a single extra run over that time period.

Zimmermann did not allow any runs in his lone start against the Cubs last season.

Hendricks (1-1) threw a complete game shutout Thursday against the Padres, striking out seven and giving up five hits.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see a bit of a let down for Hendricks in this game.
