The co-creator behind the hit television show Modern Family have announced they plan to kill off one of the characters for Season 10.

Dave Mason of BetOnline advised Gambling911.com that his wagering firm just released odds on which character will die this season.
The favorite (at EVEN odds) is Jay (played by Ed O'Neill) with both Gloria (Sofia Vergara) and Claire (Julie Bowen) having the next shortest odds and the potential for a $60 payout on every $10 bet.
“We’re handling some bigger life events in this season,” co-creator Christopher Lloyd tells Entertainment Weekly. “We do deal with a death, which is certainly a topic that families have to deal with, and on television, it’s not easy to do because that’s a heavy subject. But at the same time, it would seem unusual for a family not to go through it.”
The new season starts Wednesday Sept. 26 at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
