Chinese 'Gangster' Promotes New Crypto for Poker: Amassed $750m in Under 5 Minutes With ICO

The one time leader of the Macau branch of the 14K Triad, Wan Kuok-koi, also known as "Broken Tooth", has announced his new cryptocurrency.

Known only as "HB”, Wan’s company recently announced that it had amassed a total of $750 million via an initial coin offering (ICO) in less than five minutes.  That ICO was launched in Cambodia. Wan's company is said to have ties to a shadowy Beijing firm.

They plan to issue one billion tokens of HB – 500 million of which are to be made publicly available.

A significant amount of this will go towards the prize pots of poker and chess tournaments in Hainan, China.
