Books Beg Public to Take Buckeyes - Go Huskies!

It's a game we here at Gambling911.com have been monitoring since the first week in December, the Washington Huskies vs. Ohio State Buckeyes Rose Bowl.

Despite some 85% of the action coming in on Ohio State, the books want gamblers to bet the Buckeyes and that enticement really took a sharp turn Tuesday afternoon just hours ahead of the 5 pm EST game.

During the morning hours, books moved the line to Ohio State -7.  By afternoon nearly all of them dropped to -6.  That's the lowest number we've seen in days, if not weeks.  As such, Gambling911.com has moved the Huskies chances of covering this spread from 65% to 70% just prior to game time.

All the ingredients are here for the bookmaker's opinion to go their way.  Sagarin even indicates the line should be more in the neighborhood of Buckeyes -5.

This is a high volume game.  Books will get a serious beat down with an Ohio State cover this New Year's Day.
