Columbus Area Bookies, Bettors Celebrate Blue Jackets First Deep Stanley Cup Playoffs Run

The Columbus Blue Jackets entered their Game 5 against the Boston Bruins tied 2-2 in the series.  This one was guaranteed to go at least six games.  The Blue Jackets were at +127 to +130 depending on the book.

Great for the Columbus Area Fans, Books and Bettors

The Buckeyes rule this region during College Football season.  It's great to see that the Blue Jackets have managed to extend the betting frenzy into the spring as this team has powered its way through the 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Columbus has had as many playoff wins in 17 days, as they did in the previous 17 seasons. 

An expansion team in 2000, Columbus struggled during its first decade in the National Hockey League.  It wasn't until 2009 that the Blue Jackets made it into the Playoffs but were swept.  They won their first Playoffs game in 2014.  But it wasn't until this year that they advanced with the first ever sweep of a President’s Trophy winner, the Tampa Bay Lightning.
