The Utah Utes are favored to win OVER 9.5 regular season games in 2022.
Games at Florida and UCLA as well as Oregon definitely will be sitting more in the losing colum. But that's already 9 games. Even hosting San Diego State is not a guarnteed win by any stretch of the imagination.
The Utes beat Oregon with ease in the two meetings last year.
The Utes are a legitimate favorite to win the Pac-12 South and Pac-12 titles again. They are second in the Pac-12 and 14th nationally in points per game.
They had the best run defense in the Pac-12 last season, allowing just 3.7 yards per carry.
A key transfer for Utah is LB Mohamoud Diabate, Sr. Over the last three seasons, he's had 250 tackles with 15.5 sacks and 43 tackles for loss with five picks as the star of the Utah defense over the last three seasons.
