What Are the Regular Season Wins Total Odds for the East Carolina Pirates - 2022?

The East Carolina Pirates are favored to win fewer than 6 regular season games in 2022 per BetOnline.

In order to get the OVER, the Pirates are going to need an upset or two. Just look at who they'll be facing.  NC State, UCF, Memphis, BYU, Cincinnati, Houston.  OUCH!

Using last year's ratings, Eastern Carolina would still be a +11 versus the NC State Wolfpack.  Scratch that one.

The next five are certainly winable: Old Dominion, Campbell, Navy (they should be around a -7 point home favorite here), USF and Tulane.   Those are five straight at home against opponents they should beat.  But it gets mighty ugly beyond that point with the exception of Temple in the final week.

We're not relying on an upset.

Even if they do finish off the season with a win against Temple, that still takes us to the 6.

With that being said, there really is no reason why Eastern Carolina cannot win at least 6 games.

QB Holton Ahlers is a veteran quarterback who is more than capable of throwing for at least 200 yards every time, and there are decent receiving corps.

The defense was at least in the middle of the AAC pack.

J.J. McCarthy Drafted Number 3 Odds to Patriots

To be clear, the Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy is pretty certain to land in Minnesota.  But what if the New England Patriots shock us and pick McCarthy at Number 3 before the Vikings get their opportunity at No. 5?

Bet on Jared Verse Draft Position

Jared Verse had an over/under selection number of 15.5 with CBS Sports believing the Florida State EDGE will be chosen by the Seattle Seahawks at No. 16.
